Fishburne Military School – The Caissons Varsity Soccer team (3-2) hosted Stuart Hall at Anderson Field on a breezy, overcast, cool afternoon Tuesday, September 17th.
Forward and Captain Hamed Al Hinai (Senior; Vienna, VA) scored the only goal of the first half solo from in front of the net early in the 4th minute.
Keeper Colby Brown (Junior; Stuarts Draft, VA) finished with just two saves for the half.
Al Hinai opened the second half by scoring twice more unassisted inside the goal box in the 44th and 48th minutes. The final goal was scored by Midfielder Daniel Falk (Freshman; Ponte Verde, FL) by the far left post off a corner kick from Midfielder Haoling Han (Junior; Beijing, China) in the 51st.
Keeper Brown, though sustaining an injury in the 43rd, stayed in-net, saving seven more in the second.
Altogether, the squad had eighteen shots on goal, and nine corner kicks.
The Caissons will travel to Lynchburg for their next match to play New Covenant at 6:00pm, Tuesday, September 24th.
